About our Doctor:

    Dr. William R. French  has been practicing optometry in Moscow since graduating from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1988.  He received a Bachelor's Degree in English from Nebraska Wesleyan University and worked toward a Master's in English at the University of Nebraska.  A job opportunity in the optical field lead to management positions in optical laboratories and optical stores.  This broad experience put him on the path to becoming an optometrist.  He is licensed to practice in Idaho, Washington, and Nebraska and maintains his therapeutic credentials allowing him to diagnose and treat many conditions of the eyes including glaucoma.

 

In addition to providing comprehensive eye exams, management of ocular disease, and fitting contact lenses, Dr. French can be found using his expert laboratory skills fabricating eyeglass lenses in our on-site optical laboratory.  He also repairs, maintains, and/or remodels our physical office and optical equipment.

 

About our Optician:

    Dianne L. French holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Univeristy of Nebraska and has worked as an optician in a variety of settings since 1981.  She is skilled in all facets of optical dispensing and will help you select the right options for your needs.

 

Beyond direct patient interaction, Dianne is our office manager, insurance expert, and maintains our computer system and web site.
 

Both Dr. French and Dianne grew up in Nebraska and still have family there.  They met while working in the same optical office in Lincoln, Nebraska. The masthead picture on this web site is a beautiful shot of native prairie taken in Western Nebraska where they are directly involved in prairie protection and restoration.  They also enjoy running, biking, and the great outdoors.
