A Lighter Lunch

One way to eat less at lunch is to have a glass of fruit juice late in the morning. Brigham Young University, found drinking real fruit juice about forty minutes before lunch time caused subjects to eat 30% fewer calories.

Insurance can be a fairly complex subject. Our optometrist can accept a variety of vision insurance to cover exams, prescriptions, eye glasses, lenses and contacts. Please feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have.

In a nutshell:

For medical benefits: we are contracted providers for Regence Blue Shield, Blue Cross of Idaho, Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans from other states, Premera, Kaiser Permanente, any many others. We bill these plans when you see us for a medical visit such as an eye infection, glaucoma management, or surgical co-management.

For vision benefits: We accept the above listed plans as well as Ameritas and several others. We are a “non-VSP provider,” but we will file VSP claims for you.
